Saffron, ginger and lemon-based alcoholic beverage

Cool summertime non-alcoholic drink with a strong, thirst-quenching taste made with saffron, ginger, lemon and ice.
Serve chilled.

  1. Saffron preparation: Soak the saffron pistils in a small amount of warm water for about 20 minutes so that they release all their aroma and color.
  2. Preparation of ginger and lemon: Finely grate a piece of fresh ginger and squeeze the juice of one lemon.
    Strain the juice to remove any seeds and pulp.
  3. Union of ingredients: In a pitcher, mix saffron-flavored water with lemon juice and grated ginger.
    Add a good amount of ice to make the drink well chilled.
  4. Rest: Let the drink rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so that all the flavors blend perfectly.
  5. Serving: Pour the nonalcoholic into tall glasses and serve immediately, decorating with lemon slices and a few saffron pistils for an extra aesthetic touch.
